Common Questions

  • What should I put my recyclables in?

Loose recyclables are best! Use a bin without a bag. If you must bag your recyclables, clear and see-through bags are required.

  • What do I do with extra cardboard?

Breakdown and flatten all extra cardboard boxes and secure with tape or twine.

  • Why do my recyclables need to be clean and dry?

By making sure they are clean and dry, we can avoid contaminating other materials in the bin. Once a bin is contaminated, the entirity of the container must be treated as trash.
